Product & Component Assembly
Bring fabricated parts together into practical assemblies, with the fit, finish and handover requirements agreed from the start.
A successful assembly starts with clear drawings, an agreed parts list and a shared understanding of how the product will be used.
More than a collection of separate parts
Cutting, folding and welding are only part of the journey when a product contains several components. T-Rax can discuss assembly alongside your fabrication requirements, helping you define what should arrive as a loose part, a sub-assembly or a completed unit.
We support the transition from drawing to assembly by reviewing how components fit together, where access is needed and which dimensions control the finished result.
Define the assembly around your product
- Fabricated frames, panels, brackets, covers and enclosures.
- Mechanical fixings, hinges and other specified hardware.
- Integration of customer-supplied or agreed bought-in components.
- Sub-assemblies for your own production line or final installation.
- Finish, protection and presentation requirements for the completed unit.
Electrical integration, functional testing and specialist commissioning should be identified in the enquiry so their scope and responsibility can be agreed.
Keep the details under control
A bill of materials and an assembly drawing help everyone work to the same specification. Please identify part numbers, quantities, approved suppliers where relevant, critical fits and the current revision. For a new product, discuss a sample or first-off review before committing to a repeat batch.
Connect fabrication and finishing
Our laser cutting, sheet metal folding, welding and finishing services can be considered together. This allows fixing points, coated surfaces and assembly access to be addressed while the design can still be refined.
What we need to quote
Send your assembly drawing, parts list, individual part drawings, order quantity and expected repeat demand. Include any supplied components, inspection criteria, packaging needs and delivery date.
Can you assemble parts we supply?
Send the details of those parts, their condition and availability. We will review compatibility, handling and the division of responsibility before confirming the work.
Can you help develop the assembly?
Our CAD and design-for-manufacture services can help review the design and prepare the information needed for manufacture.
