Define the finished assembly before pricing its parts
When a project contains several fabricated components, individual drawings may not explain the complete requirement. Provide an assembly drawing, a bill of materials and details of any bought-in or customer-supplied items. Mark the interfaces that matter: fixing positions, clearances, access panels and surfaces that must remain free of coating. Explain whether you need loose components, grouped kits or an assembled product. This gives us a clearer basis for reviewing manufacture and avoids leaving essential assembly work outside the quotation.
Coordinate fabrication and finishing
Our manufacturing services include laser cutting, folding, MIG, TIG and robotic welding, powder coating and 3D CAD support using SolidWorks. Tell us how the product will be used and which dimensions or visible surfaces require particular attention. If the design contains welded and removable parts, show how they connect. Finish colour, masking requirements and any surfaces to be left untreated should be included in the brief. Process suitability is assessed against the drawings and agreed scope.
Make repeat orders easier to define
For a first batch, distinguish between the quantity you need now and any anticipated repeat requirement. We manufacture one-offs and quantities into the thousands, with prototypes available where a design needs further development. Give every enquiry the relevant drawing revision and flag changes from previous versions. If different variants share components, identify those common parts and the differences clearly. Agree what arrives at your door
Our product and component assembly service can form part of the manufacturing requirement. We also manufacture, assemble and pack our own products, and can discuss packing and fulfilment for your order. Specify identification labels, grouping by assembly or location, and any protective packing needs. Include the delivery postcode, load dimensions and weight where known, available unloading equipment and access restrictions. A requested delivery date should be raised with the enquiry so the proposed schedule can be reviewed.
