Can you make stillages to our dimensions?
Yes. The design starts with your product, process and handling equipment. Share the load dimensions, weight and any space or access constraints.
Can stillages fold or nest when empty?
Folding and nesting options are available. Their suitability depends on the load and design, so include empty storage and return transport requirements in the brief.
How is the safe working load established?
We use an external testing company for load testing and safe working load certification. Specify the intended load, handling method and stacking configuration at the outset so these requirements can be considered during design.
Which finishes are available?
Powder-coated and galvanised options are available. Tell us whether the stillage will be used indoors, outdoors or in a demanding environment so the finish can be discussed.
Can you provide protective inserts and handling features?
Yes. Options include protective inserts, forklift pockets, castors, removable sides, gates, shelves and identification plates. We agree the features that suit your product and handling process as part of the bespoke design.
Can you develop a prototype before batch production?
Yes. We use SolidWorks 3D CAD and offer prototype and batch production. A prototype allows the design to be reviewed before progressing to a production run.
