One point of contact for your design, fabrication, assembly and packing requirements.

Metal fabrication built around your requirements

When you are sourcing an enclosure or a set of metal components, dimensions are only part of the brief. Access openings, mounting points, folded edges and the way parts fit together all affect the finished product. We work with East of England customers from our manufacturing base in Desford, Leicestershire, turning these requirements into bespoke parts and assemblies. Our manufacturing services include sheet laser cutting, folding, MIG, TIG and robotic welding, and powder coating. These services support housings, enclosures and a wider range of bespoke metal components and assemblies.

Give your quotation a clear starting point

For housings, covers, panels and brackets, send the latest drawings alongside the quantity required. Identify which dimensions are fixed and which details can be developed during design. Where several parts form one product, show how they connect and which surfaces will remain visible after assembly.

  • State the material, thickness and finish required for each part.
  • Mark cut-outs, fixing holes, access panels and mating components.
  • Include any specified tolerances and identify dimensions that affect fit.
  • Separate the prototype quantity from the expected production batch.

If the project is still taking shape, explain what the enclosure must contain and how it will be used. Our kiosk and self-service enclosure manufacture page gives more detail on that area of work.

From CAD development to repeat batches

We use SolidWorks 3D CAD and offer prototype and batch production. Tell us which design details need reviewing or approval before manufacture. A prototype provides an opportunity to review the design before committing to the production quantity. Share any planned changes to the product or its internal arrangement so the drawing requirements can be discussed at the outset.

Orders can range from one-off components to batches of thousands. See our manufacturing capabilities and capacity for the equipment and facilities supporting your project.

Plan packing and delivery alongside manufacture

We manufacture, assemble and pack our own products, with delivery arrangements using our own vehicles and couriers for UK and overseas destinations. For an East of England delivery, provide the postcode, site access information and unloading arrangements with your enquiry. Tell us whether parts should be grouped by product, protected individually or packed in a particular order, so those requirements can be reviewed.

Questions about enclosure and component orders

Which drawing files can I send?

We accept STEP, DXF, DWG, PDF and IGES files. Include the current revision and any separate finish or assembly notes. If different files contain conflicting information, identify the intended specification when you contact us.

Can you manufacture parts now for later deliveries?

Tell us the total quantity, proposed release quantities, delivery locations and storage requirements. We can review these alongside the manufacturing and packing brief so an arrangement can be agreed for your order.
