Warehousing & Logistics Fabrication
Practical metalwork for the way you store, handle and move products through your operation.
Describe the load, handling method and working environment. We will help define the fabrication around the job it needs to do.
Metalwork built around your workflow
Standard equipment does not always fit the product or the space. T-Rax Fabrications can discuss bespoke metalwork for warehouses, distribution operations and manufacturing stores, from individual brackets to fabricated storage and handling assemblies.
Start with the practical problem: what is being stored, how it is moved and where the existing process loses time or creates handling difficulty. That gives the design a clear purpose.
Fabrication enquiries we can review
- Bespoke stillages and reusable transport frames.
- Storage frames, dividers and product-specific supports.
- Workstation frames, packing-bench metalwork and shelves.
- Trolley frames and handling assemblies to an agreed design.
- Brackets, guards, trays and support components for logistics equipment.
- Replacement or repeat components made to approved drawings.
Specify the load and the handling method
Include the product dimensions, maximum loaded weight, centre-of-gravity information where relevant and the handling equipment used. Stacking, fork access, wheel selection, restraint and safe working loads need to be assessed for the intended application. Any design calculations or testing requirements should be agreed before manufacture.
Connect durability with usability
We can discuss material, joint design and finish alongside practical details such as access, replaceable components and contact surfaces. Powder coating or galvanising may form part of the specification depending on the environment and intended use.
Develop, review and repeat
A sample or prototype can help check product fit and handling before a repeat batch. Our design-for-manufacture service can support this process, with changes agreed against a drawing revision before production proceeds.
Can you make equipment to fit a particular product?
Send product dimensions, photographs and handling requirements. We can discuss the information and design work needed to assess the project.
Can you match an existing fabrication?
Provide drawings or details of the existing item, including its intended loading and any changes required. Suitability and the approval process will need to be confirmed.
